How we select

A breaker protects the cable, not the appliance.

The breaker rating follows the cross-section of the circuit and the installation method; the curve follows the type of load: B for long runs and lighting, C for flats and offices with mixed loads, D for motors and compressors. Damp areas and outdoor sockets go through a 30 mA RCD.

Send the switchboard layout or a list of circuits — we check the ratings and select circuit breakers, RCDs, voltage relays and installation accessories in one delivery.

  • Curves B, C and D matched to the type of load on the circuit
  • 30 mA RCD for the bathroom, the kitchen and outdoors
  • Voltage relay protects appliances from mains voltage swings

Which breaker and cable the line needs

Enter the power, supply and line length to get the design current, breaker rating, copper cable cross-section and voltage drop.

Indicative: copper in a wall or conduit, cos φ 0.95, C characteristic, voltage drop up to 5% for power circuits and up to 3% for lighting. The final choice follows the project and the wiring regulations (PUE), allowing for the installation method and temperature.

Questions and answers

How do I choose a breaker rating?
A breaker protects the cable, so the rating follows the conductor cross-section, not the load: for copper wiring 1.5 mm² — 10 A, 2.5 mm² — 16 A, 4 mm² — 25 A, 6 mm² — 32 A. Curve C suits housing and offices; for the incoming supply take a 6 kA breaking capacity. The calculator on this page works out the current and suggests a rating.
Do you supply electrical equipment that is not in the catalogue?
Yes. Online we carry the fast-moving items; RCDs, RCBOs, switchboards and cabinets, cable trays, terminals and other DIN-rail equipment are sourced to specification or from a list. If the brand you need is not in stock, we propose a technically comparable equivalent and agree the substitution before dispatch.
How do you work with installers and companies?
One-off purchases and scheduled regular supplies, invoices for sole proprietors and legal entities, a quotation from your list. Prices in UAH, USD or EUR, depending on the item. Items in stock ship within 1–2 working days.
What wiring accessories do you have for damp and outdoor areas?
Outdoor IP65 earthed sockets — single and double — are in the weatherproof accessories section; for outdoors and utility rooms they are complemented by corrugated conduit, junction boxes and extension leads. Series for other conditions are sourced on request.
